Das habt ihr super gemacht! Den Bericht, mein ich natürlich auch. Wird man glatt neidisch! Wir (meine Zwillingschwester, drei Pros-Fans aus dem Ruhrgebiet und ich) haben genau sowas mal 1984 gemacht. Wenn ihr mal Lust habt sowas in der schönen Pfalz zu machen organisieren wir das gerne (großes Haus vorhanden). Es tut mir immer so leid, dass ich wegen meinem Job keine Zeit finde bei euch mit zu machen, aber umsomehr verfolge ich immer, was ihr so treibt. Habt witerhin so viel Spaß!

Es war so schön, das der Neid berechtigt ist!
Und Roven hat sich mit dem Bericht soooo viel Mühe gegeben, es sieht genial aus!
Ein neuer Termin steht noch nicht fest, aber das ist das nächste Projekt, das wir angehen.
Im Herbst, aber wo und wann genau...würdest Du Dir Zeit nehmen, da zu Organisieren? Solche Gelegenheiten darf frau sich nicht entgehen lassen!
Schade, das Dich Dein Job so einschränkt!

Wow! All Pros get-togethers are wonderful, of course, but I am mightily impressed with the organization shown here! Swiss roll! The actual, real guns! Agent practice/training! And the dedication to "research" is most admirable. Well done, ladies!

Well, thank you! The Swiss Roll thing was more a kind of "let´s just try it!" and since there was everything we needed in store...(It tasted great!)
And the thing with the guns was so easy, because the poeple at the range were so helpful and open...

It was wonderful!
The people at the range were so nice and gave us so many tips and answered all our questions, it was GREAT!
Specially the different amunition and how it affects the hits were just so amazing.

The gun range was fun, although more in an interesting than in an exuberant kind of way. I think it's because we were all so aware how potentially dangerous weapons are that we approached the whole thing with caution, and more of an analytic state of mind. Two of us do archery and we've decided that's more our thing, indeed ;)

But now we have more of an idea what we're seeing in episodes or reading in stories, how realistic it is, and some background info. I wouldn't want to miss the experience!

WOW!! All I can say is, German Pros Fans really know how to have a good time!

I was already loving the newspaper surveillance, swis roll making and Pros watch photoshoot; then I saw the guns! Ok..you guys just ROCK!!

Poor firle, having to miss all that!

Yes, poor Firle, we missed her there! But we sent her regular reports, at least.

Organizing the visit to the rifle club was one of Rain's masterstrokes, for sure! I couldn't believe it when I read what she had in store for us.

The layout was done with Photoshop; I just organized everything on pages and saved it as jpg, because I didn't want to spend hours trying to organize it on LJ, what with the recent trouble people had posting pictures and things as well. It worked without a problem!

This is brilliant, it looks like a great time was had by all. I'm very envious however only a couple a weeks ago four of us Aussies had a get together where we vidded, watched eps and talked non stop pros. We even found a pub that was quite 'English' it was the best we could do! I am very jealous of your shooting experience and the swiss rolls look to die for. :)

Well, I know you Aussies have fairly regular get-togethers, at least some of you, plus you always manage to visit fandom friends overseas, and that's truly awesome!
I find the people are the best part of fandom, and I've made many good friends since I joined. I wouldn't want to miss that.

The Swiss roll really was delish, Rain and Smirra did a wonderful job! The one Rain made is currently sitting on my sideboard (I take it off sometimes and cuddle with it, secretly ;)

Absolutely. The experience at the rifle club was amazing. A thorough introduction of our gun law, security and technical aspects and then practice- real recoil experience... Two of us ladies quite impressed the guys with their very good beginner level and one handed over his WW2 Enfield 4 Mark 1 rifle for practice, as you can see above in the pics.
But all parts fo the weekend were very enjoyable!
