Ich habe mir die Unterhaltung nochmal genau durchgelesen, und ich finde es ziemlich deutlich, dass Doyle alles versucht, aber Bodie ihn abschmettert (scheinbar denkt er, dass Doyle nicht weiss, worauf er sich einlassen wuerde).

Das Gefuehl mit Cowley/Bodie hatte ich hier: “The one rule I’m feart of breaking.” And Bodie was left to wonder what had been left unsaid: ‘especially for me’, or ‘especially for you’?
