In memory of the fabulous MLM
In memory of the fabulous MLM
I wish I could pay my final respects to MLM in person, but not being able to beam myself anywhere I need another way to do it.
My idea for anybody who has the same problem is a read together.
On November 7th at 11 pm GMT+1 (Berlin, Germany) we could all read this story she has written, Wire
And meet afterwards here at lj in this community to honor her.
To see what time this is for you check out this site.
The story is around 600 words, so everyone could join in, because five minutes can be snatched anywhere.
I never met MLM in person, but I am awed by her strength and her way of looking at life.
And I am thankful to her for sharing all that and the wonderful insights on the Lads“ lives, too.

Memorial
I believe Londonronnie http://londonronnie.livejournal.com/ organised memorial status for probodie.
So I think she would know how. I've been thinking myself that we should ensure MLM's site is preserved.

Re: Memorial
I think everyone has - it's such a treasure. It shouldn't be lost.

Friends or a relative can send an email to support@livejournal.com asking to have moonlightmead's LJ put into memorial status. (We did this earlier in the year for one of our MFU cousins, Svetlanacat4.)

I'm so pleased that we will still have a little bit of Mead here on LJ with us.

And Milomaus, it sounds like a plan! I think that means Eastern time in Australia is 9 AM, so quite do-able.

But I'm happy that he is ok with it.

I can't imagine how hard this is for them.
I knew her so very little, but she made an enormous impression on me.
Her journal is terrific memorial, and a bloody good read :0)
